The LCD looks nice. I am using this with my Mac Mini, using a Display Port Cable (and a mini-DP to DP adapter on the mini).

The LCD Stand is State of the Art. I have never seen anything like this. I was thinking i would need a Wall LCD support, but i would not change this Stand ever.

I would recommend this product to anyone on a budget, looking for some nice LCD.

Dell SP2309W 23-Inch LCD Widescreen Monitor Review

I bought this monitor direct from Dell where incidently it was quite a bit cheaper (approx $250).I'm not surprised that the other reviewer doesn't like the speakers as it doesn't come with speakers (or at least it was an option at Dell and if you read the product features it doesn't mention speakers).There are two things that make this an excellent monitor for some people.The first is the resolution (2048 x 1152) which is higher than most high resolution 24inch monitors.Our company used to buy 24 inch Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP which are highly rated monitors with a 1920 x 1280 resolution but they cost about $550 (Dell currently has them on sale for $430).These are great monitors but are a tad pricey.The other nice feature is that the monitor is widescreen.In a business setting this makes it very easy to have two windows side by side and be able to compare.(Windows 7 by the way makes this very easy to do).The picture is bright and has that slightly glossy look to it that I happen to like.I can't comment on its use for gaming as I don't use it that way but for general business and home use, I think this monitor is a great value.People who might not like this monitor are those like their fonts large on the screen.The high resolution allows you to make the fonts smaller so you can fit more on the screen.If you change the optimal resolution (2048 x 1152) to make the fonts larger, they tend to distort (true of all LCD's).The other factor is there is no height adjustment on the monitor.You can change the tilt, but not the height.For some situations this may be a problem, but wasn't in my case.All in all, I really like my SP2309W and think it is a great value at ~$250.

ASUS VK246H 24-Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black with Webcam Review

I am a professional 15 years old experienced digital artist. I am working with professional screens at work, I also have dell 24wfp at home, I order this monitor from amazon for using dual screen for my reference pictures and web browsing on the other monitor, I wasn't expecting amazing quality, but I am really surprised with the image quality, my $800 Dell monitor is only slightly better then this Asus. First time I plug it, it was too bright, I mean the images, not the screen. I was kind of disappointed. Then I discover the scenery mode and I tweak the brightness, sharpness and the saturation, like about 5-10 minutes I get almost the same image like my dell monitor. Do not bother the other setups, just select the scenery mode and put this settings up,
Brightness 51, Contras 64, Sharpness 44, Saturation 50 or 55. so it's pretty much the same as calibrated dell 24wfp screen.

There is some downs on this monitor too, Up and down angles are getting darker, Left right is better, you don't move your head up and down much so if you can get the right angle it will work great. if you like to put your monitor high up, you are going to hate the stand, it is horrible. You can not move your monitor up and down, I put a ikea furniture piece to raise it up.
it is looking good actually, I glued some artwork on it, now it looks retro, I love it,but I am lucky that I have this furniture piece, Otherwise I might going to use books to raise it so it could be looks boring because I can only use my old Stephen king books as a raiser. :)
There is also details lost on light images, it is very very slight, sharpness is great, colors are amazing, I turn down the green a little like %3 to match my pro screen. So overall I am very pleased with this monitor even after stand and brightness works.
I still draw my images on my dell screen, because it's a bit better, also it has 1920x1600, so there is 120 pixel difference vertically.
so, it is perfect for second monitor, but if it is your only monitor and you are a digital artist, buy pro monitors. For other type of user this monitor is supersonic!Actually even if you are digital artist with a tight budget or if you are a beginner artist, it might be your favorite monitor.
if my pro screen dies, I might get one more Asus, and use that $600 difference for buying 600 glow stick from dollar stores then crack them at the same time and watch them.

Other then the image quality, I never test the speakers or HDMI I don't care.
Digital camera is not working with XP 64 bit because there is no driver, so it feels like my asus monitor has a blind eye on top of her head.
Anyways this is a good buy, for $209, it's a steal. I recommend this monitor anyone except digital artist who is going to use it as a main monitor as a main monitor.

ASUS VK266H 26-Inch Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor with 2.0MP CAM (Black) Review

Update Dec, 2009: Nothing's died. The screen is still in working order on all inputs. Aside from the occasional bit of dust I have to clean off, it is still virtually indistinguishable from when it was new.

Other thoughts: If you're a gamer, print up a list of 16:10 resolutions or remember them in case you need to downsize detail from 1920x1200 to something less intensive for an older video card like the 9600GT. Ratio values are sometimes listed in game options, but are more often left out.

This LCD screen deserves a better summary than what Amazon has to offer. Pull up a list of stats for the model number on Google, and you'll see. The highlight of this screen (other than being fairly priced for its size) is that it actually has component input. I'm running a Wii and PS2 off of a component switch, my laptop from HDMI and my desktop from DVI. Laptop and console audio emits from the its 1/8 jack into studio monitors which are nominally superior to this screen's built-in speakers.

The picture is bright, and I'm speaking from (good) experience with 20" Trinitron CRT's and it shipped with zero dead pixels.
It looks better than anything I've seen for its size range at mom & pop computer stores, retail chains of all sizes and LAN party rooms.

If I had to nitpick, I'd say that ASUS doesn't have the best reputation for customer support and the five-button (not counting the power) interface is clumsy to navigate. The wrong press of button can send you to a completely different part of the menu or shut it down entirely! A screen like this would've been complete with a remote control and a less-squeaky stand.

As to the webcam, I haven't bothered with it yet, so I can't say.
