This monitor is really great, especially when you watch movies on it or need several windows open for work.Although, they did not give you measuring instructions and ordered the monitor too big.Area for monitor was 27 inches diagonal but did not realize the inches of the monitor did not include the housing, wish I would have gotten just a bit smaller to fit in my sauder desk.The monitor is actually 23 inches for the screen & another inch or more on each side.

Samsung Touch Of Color T240HD 24-Inch LCD HDTV Monitor Review

I purchased the T240HD for usage as a computer monitor because of a long history with Samsung monitors being absolutely top notch.Unfortunately this product while being pitched as a monitor, makes a great TV but not a great monitor.

The resolution is very good (1920x1200) and it's very attractive and stylish.

There is no vertical height adjustment (typical for a TV but important to have in a monitor).Your desk / monitor stand had better be at just the right height.The edge is highly reflective and creates bad glare around the picture in a work environment. The adjustments are typical TV adjustments but not monitor adjustments (there is no horizontal or vertical position adjustment).

I've used Samsung monitors for many years and recommend them to my clients.When I finally purchased a HDTV I bought a 46" Samsung which is excellent.The T240HD makes a great HDTV but I regret purchasing it as a computer monitor.

SAMSUNG P2570 24.6-Inch LCD Monitor Review

I purchased 2 of these monitors to run a dual-monitor setup in my home office.My initial concerns when purchasing were a lack of USB ports in the monitor, no webcam, and a fixed base for a stand.However, a leading name brand, great size, and great specs convinced me to take the plunge.

Assembly took about 25 seconds.It took another 25 seconds to hook up the included DVI cables, and I was up and running.My first thoughts after hooking them up were 1.The picture is crystal clear.2.The size is awesome. 3.What an elegent look having the glossy black frame with clear glass borders and clear glass stand.

I don't buy monitors for bells and whistles, I buy them for viewing.1 screen EASILY fits 2 full sized web browsers.I love the dual screen set up with 4 full sized browsers.

With the HDMI connection, I'm going to hook up our Cable box and switch the input so my wife can watch her recorded shows in high definition on the right monitor while editing her photos with the left one.If my son wants to hook up his Xbox, thats an option as well.

Overall, if you want an amazing high resolution experience and a lot of screen real estate to work with for a really fair price, I highly recommend this monitor.If you are in love with the built in webcam/usb ports/adjustability and positioning of the screen, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

LG M237WD-PM 23-Inch Class Widescreen Multi-Function LCD Monitor/TV (Gloss Black) Review

I purchased this item and delivery was fast from California... The items box is very small and well packaged. I save all my item boxes for at least a year, in case I need to sell or ship an item back.

I read the 4 previous reviews that were here prior to purchasing this item, so I knew its faults like weak speaker output. But I wanted the item for my bedroom TV viewing (where i use low volume or headphones), and also to use it as a Computer Monitor for my 2nd desktop computer. This way I can switch from the HDTV over to the monitor (at HD quality 1920x1200 coming from a connected HD4770 -HD quality computer video card), then connect to HULU online and catch up on my missed TV episodes, or scan the web, or play video games. This thing is just great. I've got another HDTV in the living room and the ATSC tuner in this thing picks up more channels that any other HD tuner that I used, whether it be in an HDTV or an HD tuner card for the computer (both internal & external - and I've went through about all of them).

The main thing for me is picture quality... and this thing has it. It is just GREAT! It blows away my other HD set in the living room. Also the specs were not really covered properly by either amazon or the manufacture on its website. It says it only has an ATSC tuner, but it has 3 tuners. It will collect HD, QAM, and NTSC, but it only has 1 catv input (that's always the trouble with these things, never enough of something). I guess you could connect this thing into a dual-tuner system, like a TIVO HD tuner and have it made. But it does have a lot of other connections on the rear for inputs, and I manage with that.

When I go in to edit/delete TV channel, there are 4 sections for channels, so it must have 4 tuners: DTV (ATSC), CADTV (cable HD(higher QAM), CATV (cable, original (QAM), TV (NTSC).

One thing about the remote, is there are not a lot of options on it. I like what my other hdtv remote has, it allows me to press SKIP (for 30 sec intervals), so if I am watching a channel and a commercial comes on I press SKIP 4 times, then go channel surfing, and when the 4x30sec ends, it automatically goes back to my program... I like that feature, but its not on this LG. But it does have a favorites button.

Now as for the volume deficiency my solution to this was to by a cheap, yet high quality, portable powered speaker system (battery/usb powered) that has a 3.5mm input/usb connections. This allows me to plug my powered speaker (FiiO - S9) into the LG HDTV headphone jack (I read where 1 reviewer said the was no audio out jacks, but there is.. a headphone jack). Then when I use the LGs remote control I can adjust the volume output and quality coming out of the FiiO (because its plugged in to the headphone jack). I purchased my FiiO-S9 on ebay for $[...], but now I see that amazon has it cheaper here:

Plus now I have a very nice powered speaker system that runs on 4 AA batteries. I can take it anywhere, (in the car, camping, etc) plug-in mp3 players, guitars, or whatever I want into it.

I guess 1 star could be taken off for the speakers, but not by me cause I found an easy solution to fix the problem

buy 1 of these TVs & I think you will enjoy it, I am.

Samsung 2333SW 23-Inch Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor Review

I am really happy with the purchase of this monitor.I haven't seen too many reviews on it, so I was bit skeptical at first when purchasing it.It is the perfect size, 5ms response time, HDCP compliant, 16:9, and has a 20000:1 contrast ratio.One of the things about monitors in this size is the 16:9 viewing ratio - Some are not, and if you are interested in watching HDTV on your monitor then you'll have black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, which I personally don't like.Pairs well with a Blu-ray player and HDCP compliant video card.I'm using it for all sorts of tasks - video and picture editing, blu-ray movies, internet, etc.I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on that end of it.All in all, a great value for the size and quality.

One note on the stand assembly:Use a bit of olive oil and place it around the rubber ring on the inside of the stand insert.This helps the stand slide into place much more easily, and will not hurt the monitor as long as you use the olive oil sparingly.
