After using CRTs my entire life I decided to take the plunge and go with a nice LCD.After some initial research my friend recommended Microtek.I got the monitor from Office Depot and was very impressed.My eyes no longer get dry everytime I use the computer for quite some time which is just amazing to me.I did have a dead pixel develop in the bottom left quadrent but I was pleasantly suprised when I called up Microtek and they told me their zero tolerance policy on LCD monitors.With just 1 dead pixel they swapped it out on the spot.
