My daughter was angry at me or the dog:-) and slammed my beautiful 3 month old Macbook shut. Needless to say the LCD screen had a crack and I couldn't see half of my screen. I first went to Apple and got some outrageous quote on repair. So I found a repair guy, easily found and ordered this screen at Amazon, and presto! It was fixed. The screen was delivered to my home in about two days (super saver shipping) in an Amazon box with lots of protective bubble wrap (which that same kid loved:-).
While I typically buy books, gadgets, etc. from Amazon, I was impressed with the speed and care in handling of this sensitive item.
