Acer P205H bmd 20-Inch Widescreen LCD Display - Black Review

I received this monitor as an early birthday gift and what a surprise it was! The images are crisp, the color is vibrant, and with the widescreen, there's more room on my desktop to multitask.I like the one-touch presets to adjust the brightness according to what you're doing. I've only had it for a few days, so I don't know about the longevity of it, but so far I'm happy as a clown on Prozac!

If you are serious about color, photo editing, graphic design, video editing, and can afford this monitor, get it. I haven't seen anything better. The La Cie monitors are also good, but this has a faster refresh than many of the La Cies so less ghosting/blurring when watching video or playing games.

Also comes in a black case.

We originally got this screen to replace a Apple Cinema Display that was fried by power surges in our office. It was for my coworker's Mac G5 and we were told it was compatible. Hers is a slightly older G5 (just prior to the intel chip added) and the display was definitely not working properly for her. All the type was blurry and she couldn't calibrate the colors properly. We couldn't return it bc we threw out the box by the time we figured this out so we tried it on my G5 (the kind with the intel chip). The text is fine, works great on my computer. I now have a dual monitor set up, with a Apple Cinema Display as my primary display. This monitor is a secondary display. If you are working with graphics I would not recommend using this for your only display because the colors are a little more blue (even when calibrated the same) than the Apple display. For color accuracy I have to work on the cinema display. If, however, you are just wanting this for simple pc work and are not planning anything super high tech with graphic design or animation then this is a great screen for you.

Sanus Component AV Foundations Lowboy CFV69-EB1 - Cabinet unit for AV System - MDF, veneer - black, cherry - screen size: 17" - 69" - floor-standing Review

I just bought this Sanus unit for my black 46" HDTV and suround sound components. I bought the Espresso one and it is really just black, which is what I hoped for. Building the unit was not that hard. I really like the design and style while at the same time very much appreciate the functionality. The back of the unit is, for the most part, wide-open so you can easily connect wires. That has always been my pain. The front doors can be either glass panels or black veneer panels. The height of the unit is perfect to make my TV at my eye level. I'm pretty pleased with this purchase, but I did have a amazon credits $$ that brought the cost way down. I'm not sure I would have paid full price for this ($800-900).

This robotic arm is wonderful!It turns so much that I can see the tv from the next room while laying in bed.It is a little loud, but that is very minor.Worth every penney.Also, this was the best price that I could find on the internet.It was very easy to install.But, once it is up you can't access the ports to add another item unless you take everything off of the wall.

After looking at Samsung's 19T and other models I thought i had made up my mind on the Samsung.However, when i saw that Viewsonic was coming out with a new model in their vp series I was intrigued to see how it performed.Knowing others with excellent experiences with them i decided to purchase the vp181b without actually ever seeing it in a store.I definitely made the right choice.
Once I had it out of the box and hooked up, I was instantly impressed with the amazing brightness and contrast.After having used my Dell Ultrasharp display for about a year, it was like looking into the sun.Here are some of the advantages that changed my mind:
- About $100 cheaper to get a 18" instead of 19" (Note: The screen resolution is the same for both 1280x1028 the 19" just stretches it more).
- It's a Viewsonic and they are known for excellent quality products.
- The vp181b has dual inputs (analog/digital) and a 4 port USB hub built in
- Extremely sturdy base, it looks like a penguin, however it is unbelievable well designed and rotates very fluidly.
- Cable managed prongs on the back to keep everything nice and organized.
- The vbXXXb's allow for portrait mode; this feature is very nice if you are a college student and write a lot of papers like I do, in fact, you can see an entire page in MS Word and it makes surfing the web easier as you can see more on the page.
Basically though, I would recommend this display to anyone that is a college student, graphics professional, or just someone who likes a well built display.
